It allows schools to raise money in the spring of 2026, where each $1,000 they raise at a school earns them a McDavid Draw Ballot. The winning school in this draw gets a
Interested in fundraising but prefer to do it in the spring? The BSSF Spring Program is an alternative method of participation through the Ben Stelter School Fundraiser. It allows schools to raise money in the spring of 2026, where each $1,000 they raise at a school earns them a McDavid Draw Ballot. The winning school in this draw gets a special visit from Oilers captain Connor McDavid in December or January of the 2026-2027 school year.

The Ben Stelter School Fundraiser is perfect for you! 50 Schools participated in our 2025 fundraiser, raising $285,000 for the Ben Stelter Centre for Proton Therapy and Neuroscience. As of now, Canada is the only G8 country without access to Proton Therapy. Families in need of the treatment are forced to take on an additional financial and emotional burden of needing to travel to other countries, such as the United States, to access this treatment. We are working to bring Proton Therapy to Canada for the very first time, and we are confident that this development will inspire hope for the fight against cancer. Join our fight against cancer, and together we can make a difference!
