The Ben stelter centre for proton therapy and neurosciences

As of now, Canada is the only G7 country without access to Proton Therapy. Families need to take on an additional financial and emotional burden of needing to travel to other countries, such as the United States, to access this treatment. We are working to bring Proton Therapy to to Canada for the very first time. We are confident that this development will inspire hope for the fight against cancer. All funds raised from the Ben Stelter School Fundraiser will be invested into the Ben Stelter Center for Proton Therapy and Neurosciences. Join our fight against cancer and together we can make a difference!

Last year, we kept our expenses down to just  $7,491.81, which accounts for just 2.6% of our revenue. This means that 97.4% of proceeds went directly to the cause. Here at the Ben Stelter School Fundraiser, our student-led finance team helps ensure that the vast majority of our donations can go towards the cause, because that's what matters most. 

How do we maintain such low costs?

Keeping our costs low is incredibly important to us. Our entire team is grade-school student volunteer-led, helping us keep our operational costs very low. Additionally, the majority of our prizes are donated by generous sponsors, which helps reduce the fundraising costs. Thanks to our student-led team, student participants and amazing sponsors, our costs can be kept at a remarkably low level.
